This formula provides all the properties of PERFORMA™A with the addition of post-consumer recycled content. Standard versions are available with up to 25 percent post consumer recycled content, and other variations are possible. INVISTA processes the post-consumer content directly into our reactors. We strip apart the post-consumer PET polymer and manufacture new polymers so that color and quality is maintained throughout the process. PERFORMA™ R is manufactured in a 3-layer coextruded process incorporating RPET in all 3 layers or only the center layer and APET in the outer layers. Slip, Antiblock, Colour or other processing aids can be added with high dosing accuracy to produce a sheet which meets the most challenging customer requirements. External coatings to enhance antistatic or denest properties as well as corona treatment for easy printability can be applied upon request.
